Barcelona-based techno titan, Andres Campo, takes the controls on ‘They Frontin’. The low-slung groove-heavy single with it bulbous bottom end first dropped on Get Physical back in 2012, quickly becoming one of the most played tracks of that year. Helped, in no small part, by its spoken word mantra from Detroit’s own, Monty Luke.
Turning it on its head, Campo injects pace, power and intensity. Lacing the track with a potent acid line, firing snares, cavernous kick drum and a demonic delivery to Luke’s vocal. Turning our basement funker into an arena-sized techno workout.
