‘Raizes’ is the final chapter of a trilogy that tells the story of a unique musical project born from the fusion of cultures, rhythms, and languages. This album represents the culmination of a journey that began with the EP ‘Horizonte,’ continued with ‘Caminho,’ and now finds its perfect conclusion in ‘Raizes.’ Through ‘Raizes,’ we explore the richness of our traditional rhythms and the diversity of our languages, creating a bridge between the past and the present. This work is a celebration of our identities, a blend of sounds that reflects the essence of House Music, elevated by the energy and spirituality of the African continent. The story behind this project is as powerful as the music that composes it. ‘DJ Satelite’ and ‘DJ Galio,’ two Angolan artists who lived in the same city for years without ever crossing paths, met in Europe, just 200 meters apart. It was at ‘Seres,’ a space that welcomes and unites, where their paths converged, sparking a collaboration that would go on to include the producers, voices and talents of artists such as Alex Kasion, Afro Wav, Aristoteles Jorge, Boddhi Satva, Danny Boy, Drunky Daniels, Edlasio Alves, Jessica Gaspar, Kelly Gomez, Kaysha, Leriggo, Lilly Rand, Melvi, Peter Rodrigues, Riwo, Sokhana.Produced and Composed by DJ Satelite & DJ Galio
