Andy Buchan leads the party with an original production that more than doffs its cap to the cosmic sounds of Norway. Body Heat will indeed make you sweat buckets with its massive piano stabs & spaced out synth swirls. Peak time water swigging & roof raising.
Our fave washed up super here Flash Atkins goes horizontal on Mistpoffer and ramps up the mushroom brew intake through its psychedelic haze of afro style percussion, soaring pads and (for added Balearic-ness) some serious late 80’s white isle sax.yep we’re being serious and its mega! Daco turns in a full on Italo style makeover version, which slaps a bit harder then the OG and sounds like Moroder smoked a warp 10 strength doobie.fab!
Ed Mahon returns with Seismic Guitar, a broken beat chuggernaught heavy hitter that somehow connects the dots between early doors at ALFOS with the Wild Style OST and features a sound from a certain bounty hunter’s mode of transport. Break out the lino, dust off the shell toes, pop another half..rave on!
Tom2Trax goes straight for the ‘heads down, sweaty mess at 1am in Eastern Bloc’ switch on Heatwave Horizon. A thumping house with a tech edged (though not tech house) that whallops it out of the park and comes back for 2nds.
Big time uplifting pumping action from Jimmy Turnbull on Still I Rise, a gospel-esque pumper with top level sass & swag sitting along snare rolls aplenty and a deep as heck drop for peak time action.BIG.
Local cut up king Mangetout gets out his musical scissors on Body Vibrations and goes up to 11 on the disco-o-meter to create an absolute hip wiggler of epic sizes! Big time funk bomber.we dare you not to dance!
