The Sound Vault Part 3 Miguel Migs Salted Music

To celebrate and mark our 300th release, Migs reopens his vault and selects a few more previously unreleased gems for The Sound Vault Part 3 (our series that explores and unveils his unreleased material).

Kicking things off, “Eyes For You” sees Migs teaming up yet again with soul singer extraordinaire Martin Luther, this time serving a classic inspired retro club groove with a deep, bouncy bass and warm, filtering pads, while Martin’s smooth falsetto is highlighted as the hook based vocal takes center stage.

Next up is “Close Your Eyes,” featuring the sultry, vibrant vocals of Meshell Ndegeocello, also getting the remix treatment and finally seeing the light of day. Originally released in 2011 on his album Outside The Skyline, Migs displays and maintains the song’s original intimate feel, while offering this previously unreleased interpretation.

And taking it back with “Don’t Stand There,” a track originally released in 2002 on NRK, his unreleased remix version offers a late night vibe as the moody piano filters in and out, while the dub infused elements deliver a classic, feel good flair. We hope you find something here that moves you.

Much love,

Salted Music
