BBO is another moniker from Phil Rose, known for Jaegerossa, Platinum City and Love Doves. The name was born on a sun drenched Ibiza trip in Dalt Vila alongside the late Yam Who? and Tony Wristen, better known as Antton of Café del Mar. As they sat together, all sun bleached hair and Balearic glow, Tony’s wife laughed that the trio looked like a blonde boys orphanage. Phil instantly replied that it had to be the name of the next act. Three years later, the concept finally lands.
